कैसे इस्तेमाल करें
- PDF चुनें; उसकी current properties form में भर जाएँगी।
- Fields बदलें या हटाने के लिए खाली करें।
- Save and download या Remove all metadata चुनें।
विकल्पों की जानकारी
- Title
- PDF खुलने पर browser tab और window title में दिखता है और search engines इसे file name की जगह उपयोग कर सकते हैं।
- Author, Subject, Keywords
- PDF readers के document properties dialog में दिखने वाली descriptive properties।
- Creator और Producer
- Original document बनाने वाला application और PDF लिखने वाली library; software और version बता सकते हैं।
- Created और Modified
- आपके local time zone में enter और show होते हैं।
उदाहरण
Report publish करने से पहले। Title को report name रखें ताकि tabs और search results में Microsoft Word - final_v3.docx की जगह सही नाम आए।
CV भेजने से पहले। Metadata हटाकर author account name और software छिपाएँ।

XMP metadata क्या है और इसे क्यों हटाते हैं?
कई PDFs properties दो जगह रखते हैं — classic document info और XMP block। कुछ readers XMP पसंद करते हैं, इसलिए XMP रहने पर edit काम न करने जैसा दिखता है; tool इसे भी हटाता है।
क्या यह सारी hidden information हटाता है?
Document properties हटती हैं। Comments, form contents, attachments या images के नीचे छिपा text pages का हिस्सा हैं और नहीं बदलते।
क्या content बदलता है?
नहीं। Pages, text और images untouched रहते हैं; केवल properties rewrite होती हैं।
क्या files upload होती हैं?
नहीं। pdf-lib browser में file पढ़कर rewrite करता है।
