Options explained
- Number cards
- 5 × 5 cards follow classic 75-ball bingo — B 1–15, I 16–30, N 31–45, G 46–60, O 61–75 — with each column sorted. 3 × 3 and 4 × 4 cards use smaller ranges so games stay short.
- Word cards
- Each card draws a different random set and order from your list. Duplicates and blank lines are ignored.
- Call sheet
- The last page lists every number by column, or your words in a random order, with a box to tick off as you call them.
Which size to choose
| Players | Grid | Words needed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Young children | 3 × 3 | 8 with a free space | Quick games, big squares for pictures or short words |
| Classroom review | 4 × 4 | 16 | No middle square; good for vocabulary and sight words |
| Parties and adults | 5 × 5 | 24 with a free space | The classic card; use 30–50 words for variety |
How to play
The caller reads out words from the call sheet in order (or draws numbers at random). Players mark the matching square. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal shouts “Bingo!” — check the marked squares against the call sheet before handing out the prize. For longer games, play for four corners or a full card.
Frequently asked questions
How many words do I need?
One card needs as many words as squares — 24 for 5 × 5 with a free space, 16 for 4 × 4, 8 for 3 × 3 with a free space. Use more words than that so the cards differ more and games last longer.
Are all the cards different?
Yes. The tool checks every card and never repeats one in the same set.
What paper does it print on?
US Letter or A4, with 1, 2 or 4 cards per page and dashed lines to cut along.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The cards and the PDF are made in your browser.
