- Data size
- KB, MB and GB are decimal (1,000). KiB, MiB and GiB are binary (1,024), which is what many operating systems actually show as "GB".

Frequently asked questions
Why does my 1 TB drive show about 931 GB?
Drive makers use decimal terabytes (10¹² bytes) while many systems count in binary gibibytes (2³⁰ bytes). 10¹² ÷ 2³⁰ ≈ 931.
Are US and UK gallons the same?
No. A US gallon is 3.785 litres and a UK (imperial) gallon is 4.546 litres. Both are listed.
Which Chinese units are included?
Jin (斤, 500 g), liang (两, 50 g), chi (市尺, 1/3 m), cun (市寸), li (市里, 500 m) and mu (亩, about 666.7 m²).
