Frequently asked questions
Do numbers appear correctly on rotated or landscape pages?
Yes. The position is measured on the page as it is displayed, so a number set to bottom right sits at the bottom right even on rotated pages.
Can I use non-Latin text like "第 1 页"?
Yes. Formats with only basic Latin characters are written as real text in the Helvetica font. Other scripts are drawn as a high-resolution image (288 DPI), which prints sharply but cannot be selected as text.
How do I start numbering on page 3 with the number 1?
Enter "3-" in Pages and keep First number at 1.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The numbers are added by pdf-lib running in your browser.
