Merge PDF

Combine PDF files into a single document in the order you choose, optionally keeping only certain pages from each. The merge happens on your device — contracts, statements and scans are never uploaded — and there is no watermark or page limit.

Runs in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded

or drop files here

How to use

  1. Choose the PDF files or drag them onto the page. Add more at any time.
  2. Put them in order with the ↑ and ↓ buttons.
  3. To use only part of a file, type its pages, for example "1-3, 5". Leave it empty to include every page.
  4. Name the output file and click Merge PDF to download it.

Options explained

Pages
Pages to take from each file, counting from 1. "2-4" is a range, "7-" means page 7 to the end, "last" is the final page and "5-3" takes pages 5, 4, 3 in reverse order. Separate groups with commas.
Order
Files are combined top to bottom. The page order within each file follows the page selection.

Examples

Job application. Add your cover letter, CV and certificates, put them in order with the arrows and merge them into Jane-Doe-application.pdf for the upload form.

Only the signature pages. Add a 40-page contract and enter 1, 38-40 to produce a short PDF with the cover and signature pages.

Put the summary first. Add a report and enter 12, 1-11 to move the one-page summary at the end to the front.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to merge confidential PDFs here?

Yes. The files are read and combined by JavaScript (pdf-lib) running in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server — you can confirm this in your browser's developer tools under Network.

Is there a size or file limit?

There is no fixed limit and no watermark. Because processing happens in memory on your device, merging several hundred megabytes may be slow on phones.

Are bookmarks, links and form fields kept?

Page content and annotations are kept, but links that jump to other pages inside the document may stop working. The document outline (bookmarks) of the source files is not carried over, and form fields from different files may conflict if they share names.

Why does it say my PDF is password-protected?

The file is encrypted and cannot be read without its password. Open it in a PDF reader with the password and save or print it to a new PDF first.

Can I merge a single PDF to rearrange or remove pages?

Yes. Add one file and type the pages you want in the order you want them, for example "1, 3-5, 2".
