Options explained
- Draw
- Sign with a mouse, finger or stylus. The stroke gets slightly thinner when you move faster, like real ink.
- Upload
- Sign on white paper, take a photo and upload it. The white background is removed so only the ink is placed on the page.
- Add date / text
- Places today's date or any text, such as your printed name, as a separate item you can move and resize.
Examples
Rental agreement. Upload a photo of your signature once, place it on each page that needs initials, add the date on the last page.
Form from HR. Type your name for a neat script signature and place it on the signature line.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It adds a visual electronic signature, which many jurisdictions accept for everyday agreements. It is not a certificate-based digital signature; documents that require a qualified or certified signature need a trust service provider.
Can I sign on several pages?
Yes. Move between pages and place your signature, initials or date on each one. All placements are saved when you download.
Is my signature stored?
No. The signature and the document stay in your browser and disappear when you close the page.
Does signing change the rest of the document?
No. The signature is added as an image on top of the page; text and layout are untouched and the file stays searchable.
