Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between extract and split?

Extract saves the selected pages as one new PDF. Split PDF creates several files at once, for example one per page or one per range.

Is the original file changed?

No. You download a new file; the original stays as it was.

Does extracting keep quality?

Yes. Pages are copied without re-rendering, so text stays text and images are not re-compressed.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser.
