Options explained
- Width

- Length limit
- Each image is at most 15,000 px tall so phones can open it; longer documents are split into several images in a ZIP.
How many pages fit in one image
Every page is scaled to the chosen width, and its height follows the page’s proportions. Pages are added to an image until the next one would take it over 15,000 px, then a new image starts. For A4 pages (height is 1.414 times the width) with the default page gap of 20 px:
| Width | Height of one A4 page | Pages per image | Image height |
|---|---|---|---|
| 750 px | about 1061 px | 13 | about 14,030 px |
| 1080 px | about 1527 px | 9 | about 13,900 px |
| 1440 px | about 2036 px | 7 | about 14,370 px |
A 30-page A4 PDF at 1080 px therefore becomes four images (9, 9, 9 and 3 pages), delivered in a ZIP. The gap is only added between pages, not above the first or below the last, and the background colour fills the gaps. A single page taller than 15,000 px is kept on an image of its own rather than cut.
