Options explained
- Data format
- Tab-separated data copied from Excel works, as do commas and semicolons; thousands separators in numbers are recognised.
- Export
- PNG is exported at twice the set size for sharp slides; SVG is vector and editable in Illustrator or Figma.
Data layout and chart choice
Paste the table with categories in the first column and one column per series. A header row is optional:
Quarter 2024 2025
Q1 120 150
Q2 135 170
Q3 160 165
Q4 190 210
| Chart type | Good for |
|---|---|
| Column | Comparing values across categories |
| Bar | Many categories or long labels |
| Line | Change over time, several series |
| Pie | Parts of one whole, a few slices, first column only |
The example above has two series, 2024 and 2025, so a column or line chart shows both with a legend. A pie chart would show only the 2024 values.
Frequently asked questions
Can I compare several series?
Yes — each extra column adds a series with its own colour and a legend. Pie charts use only the first column.
Can I change the colours?
A fixed palette is used for now; export SVG and recolour it in a design tool.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Charts are drawn in your browser.
