How to use
- Add images by choosing, dragging or pasting them.
- Choose "By size" and enter the maximum width and height, "By percentage" and pick a scale, or "Exact size" and enter the exact dimensions.
- Keep the original format or pick another, then click Resize.
- Download each image or all of them as a ZIP.
Options explained
- By size
- The image is scaled down until it fits inside the width and height you give, keeping its proportions. Images already smaller are left at their size.
- By percentage
- Scales both sides by the same factor — 50% turns a 4000 × 3000 photo into 2000 × 1500 and roughly quarters the file size.
- Scaling method
- Lanczos3 resampling with gamma-correct (linear light) filtering, which keeps edges crisp and avoids the dark halos of simple scaling.
- Quality
- 90 by default for JPG, WebP and AVIF, so resizing does not add visible compression.
- Exact size
- The output is exactly the width × height you enter, e.g. 800 × 800 for a product photo. If the ratio differs, Crop to fill trims the edges evenly, Pad keeps the whole picture and fills the gaps, and Stretch simply stretches it.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make an image larger?
By size and By percentage only make images smaller. Exact size can enlarge to the size you enter, but enlarging cannot add detail, so the picture gets softer.
Will the picture be stretched?
By size and By percentage always keep the original proportions. With Exact size, if the ratio differs you choose Crop to fill, Pad or Stretch; only Stretch distorts the picture.
What size should images be for a website?
About the size they are displayed at, times two for high-density screens. A full-width image on a laptop is typically 1600–2000 px wide; a blog thumbnail 400–800 px.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Resizing runs in a background thread in your browser.
