How to use
- Choose an image, then pick a platform size or a custom size.
- With Fill and crop, drag and zoom to frame the picture; or choose Show whole image and a background.
- Choose JPG or PNG and click Download for the exact size.
Options explained
- Where the sizes come from
- Checked October 2026. YouTube, Pinterest and link-preview sizes follow the platforms' own guidance; Xiaohongshu, WeChat and Bilibili publish no exact pixel rules, so commonly used upload sizes are given.
- Show whole image
- Nothing is cropped; the picture fits inside the frame and the empty space is filled with a blurred enlargement, white or black.
Preset sizes and how much gets cropped
Each Size preset exports at exactly these pixel dimensions:
| Preset | Pixels |
|---|---|
| YouTube thumbnail 16:9 | 1280 × 720 |
| Instagram square 1:1 | 1080 × 1080 |
| Instagram portrait 4:5 | 1080 × 1350 |
| Vertical video / Story / Reels / TikTok 9:16 | 1080 × 1920 |
| X (Twitter) post image 16:9 | 1600 × 900 |
| Link preview (Facebook, LinkedIn) 1.91:1 | 1200 × 630 |
| Pinterest pin 2:3 | 1000 × 1500 |
| Xiaohongshu post 3:4 | 1080 × 1440 |
| Xiaohongshu post 1:1 | 1080 × 1080 |
| WeChat article cover 2.35:1 | 900 × 383 |
| WeChat secondary cover 1:1 | 900 × 900 |
| Bilibili video cover 16:9 | 1920 × 1080 |
Fill and crop scales the picture until it covers the whole frame, then trims whatever sticks out, so the amount lost depends on how different the shapes are. A 4000 × 3000 photo (4:3) made into a 1280 × 720 thumbnail is scaled by 0.32 to 1280 × 960, so 240 pixels of height, a quarter of the picture, are cut off. The same photo as a 1080 × 1920 Story is scaled to 2560 × 1920, which keeps only 42% of the width. Zoom enlarges the picture further and you can drag within the extra area.
Show whole image scales the picture down until it fits inside the frame instead. The remaining bands take the Background you choose: Blurred, White or Black.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Instagram still crop my picture in the profile grid?
The grid shows a centred preview that can differ from the post's own ratio. Keep important content near the middle.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
Can I export all sizes at once?
One size at a time for now. Pick another preset and download again; your framing is kept.
