How to use

  2. Pick a preset such as Black & white, Vintage or Vivid — or move the sliders.
  3. Click Download image to save it at full size.

Options explained

Brightness and Contrast
Brightness lightens or darkens everything; contrast pushes light and dark tones apart around mid-grey.
Saturation and Warmth
Saturation makes colours stronger or weaker (−100 removes colour completely); warmth shifts towards yellow or blue.
Sepia
The classic brown old-photo tone, using the same colour matrix as the CSS sepia filter.

Examples

Black-and-white portrait. Choose Black & white, then raise Contrast to about +25 for deeper shadows.

Fix a dull, grey photo. Leave the preset on Original and set Contrast +20 and Saturation +15.

Old-photo look for an invitation. Choose Vintage and lower Brightness a little, to about −10.

Scanned document that is too grey. Turn on Black and white and push Contrast to +40–60 so the paper turns white and the text black.
